A holy contradiction

"If you forgive your wise, if you forget,
you may be foolishly headed towards forgiving again"

If we share the same father,
Why do we both pray to him to help us destroy one another?
Whom are you really praying to in that camouflage tent?
If God doesn’t answer prayers with cruel intent?

Like children experimenting with powers we aren’t fully aware of,
We discovered atom bombs and nuclear power, the proverbial burn by the stove.
Instead of holding our destiny in our own hands,
Why don’t we place it in the hands of he who seals the fate of all the lands?

Why is it that man is never satisfied, no matter what he achieves?
Perhaps true content is a known hope, only to those who believe.
If you’re not a Christian will you not gain salvation?
But then, was Jesus a Christian?

Christian, pagan or heathen,
The line between is very thin.
