Semantics

"My writting is oppressed"

Like the uniting of words into lines
It guides sentencing into syllable vines
Controlling construction of rhythm in rhyme
Rendering feeling feeble paradigm.

Limiting linguistics categorize,
Wild rampant emotion into tame verse,
Mundanely mediocre mimicking
Through illiterate alliteration.

Sowing stale seeds of structured sentencing
Growing weed opposing thinking
Blunting words’ lacerating double edge
Developing into hindering hedge.

Semantics cement my lingual antics,
Into linear hierarchical politics.

Zimbabwe

“The end of one hunger is the beginning of another”

Something cooks there, goals boiling in hard work,
Something sickened moves there with extreme vice
Malign Malevolent Malnutrition
Motivates a strongly driven malice.

Paving a pale future in the present,
Evident in every ashen faint face
Germinates Genocidal Germ warfare
A Renewed Revolt Respective of Race

Eyes reflect innocent beauty within
Despite my frail frame and ale ashen skin
Too harsh a time I’ve had of living
For too long, starving, sobbing, suffering.

A child of Africa within this world,
Shunned by my continent, my cries censored.

Lost

"Accept who you are and challenge whom your not"

Hither and thither
Blown amock by the Weather
Drifting on the tides of change
Blown and browsed from page to page

Held captive by emotive thoughts
Approaching from either sorts
Flowing freely from freedoms fury
Toiling, foiling helplessly from that which made it be

In search of joyous peace from belief of certain divinity
In dire strait, desperate for relief from immortality
Clutching on to a fleeting gust of hope
Dreading free fall, relying on loose rope.

With the bodily body on earth and the mental mind in heaven
Foolishly investing trust in homosapien.
